Terms of Service

Intake (intake.zengene.me) · Version 2026-10-04

This English version controls for users in the United States and Singapore.

1. The service

Intake is a private nutrition-tracking tool: it logs your meals, estimates nutrients, tracks your weight, and offers AI recognition and reviews. The service is not a medical service. Nutrition estimates, target suggestions and AI content are not a diagnosis, treatment or dietary prescription. AI recognition and estimates can be inaccurate. If you are pregnant or have a chronic condition or special dietary needs, follow your doctor’s advice.

2. Your account

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the service for anything unlawful or improper, including but not limited to: impersonating someone else, registering accounts in bulk or harvesting verification codes, interfering with the normal operation of the service, prompting the AI to produce unlawful or harmful content, or infringing the rights of others. If you do, we may restrict or end your use of the service.

4. Content and intellectual property

The meals, weight and information you record in Intake belong to you. To provide the service, you authorize us to store and process that content to the extent necessary (see the Privacy Policy). Intake’s interface, the way the food library is compiled, and its branding belong to the operator.

5. Beta, fees and changes to the service

Intake is currently in beta and all features are free. To control costs and prevent abuse, features such as AI recognition have daily usage limits.

If we introduce a paid membership in the future, we will tell you in the app in advance. Core features such as logging meals, target calculation, and pregnancy and breastfeeding plans will remain free, and features that are already free will not become paid without notice.

During the beta, features may change, and the service may be interrupted by maintenance or events beyond our control. We will try to give advance notice and to protect your data. You can export your data or delete your account at any time.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

7. Changes to these terms and contact

When we update these terms we will mark the version date on this page. By continuing to use the service you accept the updated terms. Contact: intake@zengene.me.
